Karen is a great character but a bad headteacher. I think she's a pretty deep character with a lot of flaws that make for a great story but headteacher wise she's just not good, she's arrogant, judges the kids, bosses around the staff and if I remember correctly in Season 7 there's a line where it says that under her reign as Head exam results have dropped. Obv not to levels in season 1 but they've dropped below when Rachel was head. Still a pretty good character for drama though.

What I don't understand is that Karen doesn't punish Jess for going out in clubs when she's underage. Chris shouldn't of slept with her but if she told him she was of age then its not his fault. She not only played with his feelings, but she put herself at risk when she went in the club in the first place. Chris would of thought she was a young woman and that it was ok. Karen needs to educate her daughter on safe guarding, contraception and underage drinking. Chris is such a good teacher!

It's not a matter of who "deserves" the baby. And what has Ruby done that's so wrong? She & her husband offered to adopt Janeece's baby. Janeece made it very clear she didn't want a baby and she decided Ruby & her husband could give her a good home. Now Janeece has changed her mind, which is a pretty good indication of her immaturity and inability to cope with parenthood. It should be about what's best for the baby, not what any of the adults want.
