Watermelon Bombe (ice cream treat)-with yoyomax12

This is called a bombe because it is derived from the French word "bombé" (bom-bay) meaning domed or rounded, describing the round shape. I found the combination of lime, vanilla and strawberry to be very nice :)

Photographing it was not fun at all. The pieces I cut in the video were fine but once I transferred the pieces to a plate to put in my photo tent they started to melt fast. I have new found respect for photographers that take pictures of ice cream.

After 125 different ones, I just got tired of doing mostly cupcakes. I don't like working with fondant and I had reached the point where I was going to have to start using it. I'm not saying that I won't do anymore cupcakes ever.... I have a cute ladybug cupcake coming up in the next couple of weeks.
