you're right there was a water drop but they edited the video to make it disappear and it was a obvious edit too it wasn't done professionally in like a second the phone shifted to the upper right. good eye if it wasn't for you pointing it out i couldn't see it because the edit was to fast but when you know where it was i saw the edit right away.

I can confirm it is waterproof I just dropped my s20 into bathtub , I was amazed it still worked because I have cracks on the screen ( actually looks cleaner now though and can't see cracks as much ), My last phone I think the S9 or whichever was before s20 totally had no water proof mechanism because it did not survive more than a few seconds nor did my old ipad .

Usually that just means it has to dry, you can't charge it till its completely dry but if it's truly shot you can always use wireless charging

So ALL reviews I've done always show how the screen still works. That's great and all. My current ipx68 rated phone got water on the dishes yesterday. Now I have no speaker. Not once did I see any of you guys showing for the speakers work after this water test, always just screen and browsing. If I want a mini laptop id get one. I bought it as a phone, which requires speakers. Perhaps that's the most important part of a phone?

How long does it take for the camera's to dry out? I fell in the pool with my phone in my pocket, it was protected by Otterbox and screen protectors for the face and camera's on the back. But right now the cameras are snowy and covered with condensation. I rinse it off immediately within the next minute; there is a convenient sink right next to the pool. But I had to leave all the protection on the phone for the next 2 hours until I could break it down and re rinse just the phone minus the protectors when I got home 2.5 hours later. I'm just worried about losing money as I need the camera for work and pleasure. Any advice

The fastest way is dry in the sun, don't forget to cover the camera lens with paper or tissue. Did you buy it brand new or refurbished or secondhand? Check the seal with pressure test app to know if the seal of your phone still intact

@@firdanjulian8277 Good advice I bought it brand new. Off of Amazon a Year after official release date. But yes I have it wrapped in paper towel inside of rice and is currently sitting where the sun can hit it. But right now it's a little bit cooler weather and slight rain today

You need to wait till the water gets dried it won't go inside thr phone but if you charge your phone wwhile the 💧 is around the charger the phone won't let you charge notifications will pop up

What you do is turn it off.. not restart.. have your charger ready.. turn phone back on when you see SamSung come across the screen. Plug in the charger.. this worked for me

To those that think Water proof means it can't be damaged by water that's not true. Small droplets can still be in your phone and slowly corrode the circuit board. Your phone will likely continue to work fine for a few week's or possibly months, but the corrosion can slowly damage the motherboard. Given that this video is somewhat misleading.

I belive first sentence in your statement should be: "To those who think that if your not waterproof phones works well after dropping it in a river and getting dry in home blanket, that's not true.". That's way all explanation below seems really nice. p.s. BTW, even after dropping not waterproof phone in a river, you still have a way to remove most of mosture inside it without disassembling device. For that you'll need about 100 gramm silica gel in total weight and seald plastic bag. Than remove mosture from phone with a rag, than put it with freshly opened from factory package silica gel in a platic bag and close bag. Find some place in warm, but not too hot area (not more than 50 degrees Celsius in Sun) inside your house and put there bag with a phone for a month (!!!). Time is critical and seems huge, but moisture vaporing and diffusion from insides of phone to silica gel takes time. Be patient, so you mobile will work much more later. Short way - any service that will remove cover and dry in for you.

Is it still working fine? If it's gone this long without issues it should be fine but keep an eye on it. Water can still get in to the s20 and damage the motherboard overtime by corroding it.
