Great instructions Steve, For those of us who are occasional water hunters, I used regular cable service coax and stripped the ends and used Velcro to attach the coax to my coil and up the shaft.... found if you coil the stripped end in a circle in a circle and line it up flat behind the Deus controller your signal from the coil will be stronger,glhh

What about HF coil battery what is inside metal detector shaft, here water wont go inside and damage it???

Nice fix project. There's a will there's a way, equinox is less expensive and work every where out of the box. Minelab thought of these problem points so I pick ml for my machine.

Hey Gig, you would think that the engineers at Deus would have water proof the complete system and make it work under water. The XP Deus was never built to be completely submergible. But if it works.... go for it. I enjoy watching your videos.

Don't forget to open that waterproof bag when you're not using the machine..Condensation will build up.

unfortunatly you cant swing the coil under water ,its like swinging in treacle so finds wont appear

If you don’t use the XP certified underwater kit, you void the warrantty. Running the XP in the water is a PIA anyway

why not just buy a simplex,or a Ledgend or a nox 600 or 800 and foget that caveman set up just sayinggggggggggggggggggggggg!
