Thanks Gary! This was a perfect outing to join you on as I have both the ORX and DEUS. I usually bring both controls with me but haven’t gone as far as you in a side by side comparison. I’ve learned so much with this video regarding the small nuances between the two machines and programs. Next time out I’m going to do the same, switch between the two controls, if I can muster the patience when I get a winner target!

If they finalise the ORX, it will be a grand event. Just need to add 2 tones, volume and some depth. That's all! Deus is very expensive. And ORX costs more than multi frequency minelab vanquish , garrett apex. Makro simplex costs the same as 2 Orx. I thought the manufacturer would support their users. But no - they are advertising a new backpack. Why? How much have you been asked to add sound adjustment (it's a basic necessity, no need to ruin the reputation, it's stupid)? and at least 1 tone (impossible to tell the difference between corks, aluminium caps. If not an extra tone, the vdi can be stretched to 150. It will be easier for us)? ORX is more expensive than instruments with equal or greater depth of search, sound adjustment and more tones. Do something at least

I love the ORX. Just started using it after years using the Garrett AT PRO. I hope the xy screen will be added as an update soon. Thanks Gary for the great information.

Brilliant video, you can't go wrong with either machine. If your budget is a bit more limited then the orx is ideal but if you want a bit more choice with the programs go for the deus in the lite configuration and build it up over time, that's what I'm doing. 👍

Great video, on the Bull Head silver I thought the Deus fast sounded a little bit softer and cleaner than ORX coin fast. Not much in it, maybe the Audio Response is a little lower? ATB MMMD

Sounds like your MI-6 is synced to your handset - Gary’s MI-6 was making a noise and vibrating which it wouldn’t do if it was synced to the handset.

@@tonyhynes1938 Deus Lite bud. I was only laughing because my mate was the same with his GMP, he’s using an ORX now and can see the difference. I’ve had all the XP’s from more or less day one they came out, all great machines but the versatility of the Deus a different world, if you have ancient sites of habitation. Not knocking the GMP at all, tried going back to one several times but l’m 61 so it’s a tat heavy now 😂 l run the HF coils and swear by them 😉

They all seem far to complicated to me mate. I still find stuff that people have walked over. I may dig slightly more crap but we all dig crap no matter what machine. You wouldn't believe the size of the coil I'm using 😂😂✌️
