Bigwig and Fiver are my favourite characters from Watership Down. I love this movie so much, and the book also. Thank you for posting this.

My mother hated snares so at first she just shrunk the wire loops but when she red the book and she saw lots of snares in Ireland so she started carrying a trowel and digging them all up and taking them to her father burnt them.

The snare rabbits are so creepy looking. They are even worse than the Efrafa rabbits. 😱

what are you talking about? this movie is a classic! okay they changed a few things and left out a few characters: but they had to squeze a 413 page book into a 2 hour movie.....i think they done a very good job. i would never have read the book if it was not for the brilliant movie!

@RizzalVixen i watched it when i was tiny, it scared the crap out of me and i loved it- i would definitely show this to my children! it made me cry, it made me laugh, and it inspired me- it showed me that the quest for safety or comfort or whatever does not come without loss - the good guys do not always survive and the bad guys do not always get what they deserve. I agree that the plague dogs is unsuitable but it involves principles and plot points that are MUCH harder for a child to understand

I'm up to the part were bigwig gets hurt in the wire in the book. They really have the characters down in the movie. I first saw this when I was like 6. It didn't scare me but I was too young to understand it.

anyone who has read the book why didn't the rabbits in the tunnel tell them about the traps?
@angief63644 жыл бұрын
Because they will leave, and they preferred to sacrifice them first so they could have more lifespan.
