A bit of a vlog slash destination guide for this latest video on our recent trip to Waterval Boven in South Africa.

Routes I got on that are 'Must Do' routes - basically everything at the Waterfall Crags, and I really enjoyed Day of the Triffids. I say that these routes deserve 4 stars, Day of the Triffids and Madiba Magic certainly do.

Kilian Raetzo I think that Winter is unboudtably your best bet. I.e May to July.

This looks like paradise. :) Even for non-climbers. Can/did you jump into the water?

Yeah, from what we here it isn't advisable to swim in the water. Apparently the locals say there is some kind of water rabbit or something in there, it's a bit of a story to warn off people from swimming in there.... possibly for good reason.

Did you bring your own gear or did you rent it there? If you rented, what was the quality?

We took all our own gear there. You could probably contact rocnrope though and ask :)
