Waterway management

The rice planting is finished, and now it's time for the duty of cleaning the waterways. No one knows exactly how the underground conduit, about 200 meters downstream, is structured. They say it's important to clean it because it can cause serious trouble if debris gets stuck. This waterway is, in a sense, the area where control is least possible.

Do you suffer a lot of soil erosion on the waterways if they overflow? It looks like there has been some damage just where it goes underground. 水路が溢れると土壌浸食がひどくなりますか？ 地下に流れ込む部分で被害が出ているようです。 （Google で翻訳）

Thank you for your comment.😊 That’s correct! This part of the waterway is prone to flooding, and although it was repaired once, heavy rain caused it to collapse again.

コメントありがとうございます😊 掃除をせずに水を流すと、途中に通るパイプが詰まり水路が決壊してしまうため、このように丁寧に葉を取り除いています!
