Yeah, that would be the reimagined releases. Mainly by weak minded toddlers that can't stand a good storyline, even (or particularly) if it shows the good morality by a man (turning down a reluctant woman that offers only her to protect a child), but also the bad (killing one in order the save the other and he chooses the one that gives him the most benefit). Sad thing is, that without scenes like these that help establish the character and their redemption later on, the movie actually sucks. I don't know if you have seen Dune part 2, but the scene in which Rautha receives his knives is really important to establish his character. His ruthlessness of his character really comes forward and I've heard quite a few gasps in the theater. Now imagine that movie without that scene, it would really diminishes the character as a whole. Now considering the toddlers I referenced before, I can really easily see a release of Dune without those "harsh scenes, because it might hurt some feelings".
