Watford Miniature Railway

On the same day as the Ruislip Lido Steam Gala, I visited the Watford Miniature Railway, again another one I don't remember visiting but apparently have done. I was told that the last time I visited was when the railway was faced with closure, but then new ownership saved it from closure.
On our short visit, we have a diesel locomotive I'd always liked the look of in pictures, this being Conwy Castle if memory serves, I always thought it looked like a mini 56, and I do like the 56s. Looks nice in the green! We took a ride on the railway, going through some of the infamous flooding that unfortunately plagues this railway every now and then, was surprised to actually see trains going through these mini floods, rather impressed tbh. Then I did some 'lineside' shots to finish off our visit before we had to go.

Remember the diesel model in, now gone. Paris adds Amusement Park in New Jersey as a kid. I am 71. 😄😃

Wrong sort of motive power. A steam engine ought to have been running, helps keep the passengers warm.
