I recently lost my mom. Before her passing, I was informed of her possible fate and so I ran around finding ways to ease her pain and defer her fate which to no avail. Her passing is a huge blow to me. After reading this story again, I realized I was Kisa Gotami. I understood the law of impermanence when I was younger reading the Dhamma but now I feel the law of impermanence. I also understood and feel the first precept, to abstain from killing. Our lives are precious to us as theirs to them. Thank you for the great video.
