We appreciate that! The last couple of years have been tough for the channel, but we are still trying our best to give it a proper reboot.

Thanks for uploading. big fan. I have a suggestion. How about doing something on the history of USA presidential debates. It seems like there was less propaganda and lies about other candidates. I not asking you to bash former candidates though. Just a run through of Year-by year, decade by decade, and century-by century to get an idea of how the platform has changed in the way candidates have promoted themselves, promoted against others, and the way candidates argued/debated from the founding of this country, to present day. I really enjoy your content and I find it very interesting. P.s If people want to like this so That Was History will know you like it, you should.

I think your video idea is great! I'll hold onto the idea for now and see if I can incorporate it into the channel in the future. I've been working for months now trying to get this channel active on a regular basis again, so I don't want to make any promises until that happens. I'm very thankful for your continued support and viewership though. It means the world to me to know that people still want more videos from us.

The thing that stood out to me was that the painter made three versions of the painting. Imagine writing a book, sending it into a literary agent or publisher, and them telling you they liked it but they said you had to start over, not just edit it, start over, and focus on one theme more. I know the painter wasn't forced to do three version, but I think the analogy makes since. I mean the paintings look so similar too. I think he started with two versions, then saw a shark, and then thought"I've been doing this wrong." and then he made the third version with a more realistic shark.

Something I have learned since making the video is that the second version was a full-size replica that Copley made for himself to keep. I'm still not sure what prompted the third version, but it very well could have been what you mentioned about making a more realistic shark.

I think it looks like a Greenland shark, but I don’t know whether that’s the kind that actually attacked him.
