Waterlogging every single sculk sensor (not just the one in the trap) will make all these contraptions even cooler! As for the favourite one, mine is probably the nether portal (the hidden stairway is a close second). Not even because of the contraption itself, but because of the portal's very neat design. Definetely gonna use it somewhere!

Hear me out: To activate the portal in the Ancient City, you need to use the wireless sculk mechanism; there are already the lanterns activated only by sound, but in order to activate the portal, you will need to use a loud, long and powerful sound, which would be the goat horn
@shiloh26992 жыл бұрын
That makes some sense, but I think there should be more of a price to pay to open the portal. If whatever is behind the portal is worth it even in the late game, then there should be a way to verify that the player who is opening the portal is in fact late game. It would be a little weird if you could just spawn in, find a goat horn+ancientcity and immediately get access to all that loot.

Skulk afk xp farm: attach a basalt generator around the killing floor of any afk farm, and place a skulk catalyst next to it. Use a soul campfire to kill the mobs and hoppers to collect the drops. The catalyst converts the basalt into skulk, which stores XP and can be harvested later with a hoe. Alternatively, use a mouse clicker to afk farm the skulk while the basalt generator makes new medium to be converted to fresh skulk when mobs die. Viola, afk XP farm that does not sacrifice mob drops or XP. Just be sure to replace all natural blocks around your killing floor with bricks, or else the skulk can get out of hand VERY fast.
