Suggestion, when testing these “hacks” test them on both versions to see if they work. Some things might be false on one version depending on what was shown in the video For instance, that shulker one was shown on Bedrock and it works on Bedrock. You tested it on Java, of course it’s probably not gonna work

I want to add for the faster rail movement: In the video, they used a full minecart (minecart chest, minecart hopper, minecart furnace, etc). Those move more than an empty minecart like you are using. Even a player in the minecart holding forward would be helpful in this situation. :)

The shulker X-ray one only works on bedrock. Also, for the minecart one I think if you use one powered rail after each circle that should mean it doesn't loose momentum.

I have been thinking about it recently. My theory is that sheep can eat the grass through tiny gaps between blocks that we cannot see, the slabs are just low enough for a sheep to reach the grass.

Actually, in the debug menu, wheat has the tag mineable:axe, meaning the axe is actually the best tool for wheat (technically)

Today's Docm77 had a nice life hack for creating a chunk loader that can turn itself on and off. Also a new very fast minecart rail system. (chunk loader to keep the rails loaded when moving mobs)

the rail trick is true. it's just that the example uses minecarts with hopper which keeps its momentum unlike empty minecarts

Get a composted, and a block of sand, in survival mode, place the composted in the ground, and put the sand block above you, get a night vision potion and spyglass, and you will have XRay. This is how I found my axolotl friends, and also how I found the ancient city. Of course I have to use this in a cave to find the ancient city though.

There's a life hack/Glitch you should check, it's sand duplication glitch to do a sand farm or any block that falls (like powder concrete or gravel). There's videos on yt but it involves an end portal

Re: lava moat on your front door? Ok, so first of all, mobs don't even path over it. But second, maybe this isn't as secure as you think. A spider could definitely cross that if it jumped at you. A magma cube could pass through as well. And finally, third, there are much safer mob resistant doors that provide the same level of security if not more, while not requiring you to jump over lava.

minecarts hit max speed from 3 powered rails, and after they hit max speed they only need 1 powered rail on the track every so often to keep max speed.

They might be able to eat through the slab but the grass will both turn into dirt blocks with time and not regrow after eaten so not really helpful.

I have an x ray hack dig 2 blocks down put a slab down the hole dig a hole to the side put a piston put a lever to the block next to the piston pull the lever and put top snow on top

you should see bedrock piston bolts. uses way less rails and pistons and can go 30 blocks per seconds and is unbreakable
