I usually have a mid game goal in my worlds, surround my base with 4 sets of 4 beacons, covering 200x200 with some resist, haste and regen. Sometimes speed too, but i don't like it that much.

its always best to put the beacon on the bed rock level, if the player is below the bottem of the beacon, the buffs run out. the vertical range above the beacon is infinite. that way if your mineing below your main base you will always have the beacon buff no matter how high you go. since you cant go below bedrock you will also always have your buffs

An easier way to remember what you need for a full beacon is to get a stack of 50 blocks, another stack of 50 blocks, and a full stack of 64 blocks. This way is easier to know when you have 164 blocks, but also can be easier if you're using stuff other than iron. I usually get 50 emerald, 50 gold, and 64 iron.

Try fighting in ocean, i got my first nether star with low end mobile by fighting in the ocean. Good enchanted armor with depth strider 3 is best for it.

​@@explorationandhistorywithethanyes try it yourself, first drink the swiftness potion (optional lets you escape quickly from explosion and maintain safe distance) and run after placing third skull. Then use bow far away wither. You can dive inside the water to escape skull by just swimming underwater in any horizontal direction other than moving towards and away from wither. And when it's at half the heart drink swiftness and strength potion and swim towards it and hit it with sword, and when it shoots skull you swim otherside under the water. You can swim in any direction just don't swim opposite or along the direction of skull. And the good thing about this is that you dive into water and can have few moments to heal yourself up. Eat or drink heal potion and just swim don't stay in one place. That's all i have to say

I just went through a process to gather up 16 nether stars, in Bedrock, on difficult. Acquiring the nether star is not something I look forward to, the setup is insane including a 4 thick obsidian (+- 20 stacks) chamber, iron for an army of golems and chests of eggs for the wither roses,, it's like going to the dentist for a root canal without the anesthetic.

On Bedrock and unwilling to cheat (so no dropping the difficulty to easy, to glitching it into bedrock, etc), they are an absolute PAIN to get. Usually I do an obsidian room with a thick floor up at the bedrock ceiling - also plugged up with obsidian. Yes, it can break some blocks, but the ceiling keeps it low and it is not prone to breaking through walls (and normally only the floor upon creation. Then, I build the T , put a shield of netherrack around it and fill the room with as many iron golems as I can. Usually a stack worth (so 4 stacks of iron block and 1 of carved pumpkins. Then, I summon it in, fill in the 1x2 door, and then exit out a 1x2 in the bedrock wall (with a S twist to stop projectiles). The wither blows into the world - evaporating the netherrack which shields the golems a little. Then - if you did it right, you can watch the wither swiftly die. So long as it cannot fly out of their reach, they will take it out. You will lose a LOT of them to the final blast (as they will have withered to almost nothing), but that is okay. It is just more wither roses for you to enjoy. If you can find a high place in the bedrock to use to "drop in" the golems, it is much easier to fill a smaller room with (and given the amount of obsidian it takes to make it, smaller is better). Once you have taken out your first two, you can build a beacon in the nether near by with resistance 2 and regeneration (maybe a third for strength, but it doesn't do much on top of the Smite 5 sword you should be using). With those effects, max gear, and plenty of potions, you should be able to get to where you do the bulk of the damage or can take it on yourself. The nice thing about the beacon resistance and regen combo is that you can drink milk as needed without wiping those good effects.

Also I’m pretty sure beacon beams can pass through other beacon blocks. So you could make a full iron beacon and add an outside layer of diamonds/Netherite/any other block and top it off with another beacon to make it “impossible,” aesthetic, or less expensive

I really liked the pots shown at 2020 way better. they felt more custom and imaginative. I hope they revert it at least a little. my heat is broken. the new sand is cool though. I love the sand by the desert temple but in a village... well, I dunno it just seem rude to the villagers for a player to come in and start digging around the foundations of their houses :) and you can think im weird, but I liked the old mangrove wood better than the red stuff we have now. I hope they add it as a Dif tree. (Maybe azalea lol)I also want to FIRE the pots. that felt so much more hands on and creative. I wish sometimes I could talk face to face with jeb sometimes. :c
