Leaf litter shouldnt generate automatically but as the leaves fall they and touch the ground they should generate green litter which overtime turns to yellow and then to brown after which it vanishes and new litter is produced also during rain and thunderstorms falling leaves should move around faster and in circles like in realism vfx mod Edit: I lost the heart because I fixed some spelling mistakes😭

I think better than a Swamp pig variant that’s always muddy, it would be cool if when a pig touches a Mud block, it switches to a muddy texture, and then after a while of not touching mud or when it touches water, it goes back to normal

They should make the new Pale Garden biome have such a dense fog that a player can't see beyond 10 blocks and the entire sky above the biome should also have such a fog. Since the size is much bigger, players would get lost in the dense fog and the only way out would be to endlessly walk in one direction. They could also add a structure with really good loot so that entering it would a high risk high reward type of situation and they could add a few more dangerous mods to really fit the scary and lost vibe of the forest.

Bedrock never had a true pause. The pause menu came up sure but nothing was actually paused. Soooo many mob deaths while "paused" over the years.

I'd always hoped that Mojang would revamp enemy spawning especially. They've included a lot of cool but very specific hostile mobs that we only see randomly or if we seek them out, so the world generally populates the same generic mobs every night/cave in every biome. Do spiders even make sense in cold biomes? Would be great if they restricted different things from different biomes and found alternate sources of string, etc. Seriously some of us have been fighting the same 4 things every night for 15+ years now.

i hate how people are complaining about how mojang doesn't do enough for updates, first of all be grateful that you're getting updates for a 15 year old game, secondly you need to understand that mojang has to make new features accessible to all versions which limits them alot, lastly, every single update they have to add something for every type of player in the game and that slows down updates by alot

I have a theory. So in this snapshot they removed netherite from the lodestone crafting recipe replacing it with iron, but they also added it to ruined portal loot chests despite it now having zero relation to the nether whatsoever. So I think that Mojang is going to add a new functionality for lodestones my guess being something requiring a netherite ingot. Or Mojang just forgot that lodestones aren't related to the nether anymore

I just had a complete hardcore run with no regular hostile mob spawning. The only hostiles were piglins in bastions, blazes from the spawners, silverfish from the spawner, and the Ender Dragon. I also saw one Drowned from an ocean ruin. Absolutely zero Enderman in the dragon fight was a nice treat. Caving was also a relaxing time. I did stumble upon a Trial Chamber connected with my stronghold, and all those spawners work as normal.

In 25w02a, normal mobs that just spawn in naturally during night time or in the end won’t spawn in, but other mobs that spawn through block mechanics just spawn in fine

The Enderman needs so much more love in Bedrock. They don't make all the same noises that they do on Java and when they scream and then teleport away, the sound remains on the block it used to be stood on. :(

They just added one biome retextured pig a couple of items add two changes to the bedrock world settings screen they didn't really do anything and we waited a year for it. And it takes a coder a person that works on mods one month to have a bunch of things is the bar set really that low.

Thx for commenting on the fact that bedrock passive mob spawning could receive a huge nerf. It is so much better then Java”s how about give Java bedrock’s passive mob spawning & give bedrock Java’s hostile mob spawning mechanism , that would be a great parity compromise

About the missing pause functionality it is probably because development is usually split into separate branches. One development branch contains the pause functionality. Another development branch focuses on the latest preview. When it is time for the drop to be released all branches will be merged together but in the meantime we get some of the features in one preview and other features in another preview.

From what I understand, this new “incentive” cape will be unlocked in 1 of 2 ways. No. 1: They will have a server event to promote the spring drop and build up some extra hype, and giving capes to those who, most likely based on previous server events, complete challenges. No. 2: The, “your all signed in, which means you have a fancy new cape to show off.” makes it seem like they will give people a cape if they create an account/ already have an account. That’s just my thoughts, sorry for the loooong comment :)

My “pausing” on console never actually pauses my game. I play on switch and to pause I have to open the game menu and exit the world; not even opening the menu & exiting to the switch’s homepage keeps me safe from mobs while I’m in a cave. Sometimes I forget and come back to having been dead for 15 minutes

As nice as it would be to have full parity between versions, I don't see Mojang ever having the stones to make some of the big changes that will enrage half the community. Nether roof bulding for one thing, either remove it from Java and cheese off that community or make it a feature on Bedrock, wich they will never do because it was an unintended feature in the first place. Combat, I suppose there could be some compromise there, but in the end, some of the big changes like redstone wich no matter what they do is gonna break worlds and contraptions in the thousands. Unless there is some drastic change in their decision making mechanism that's willing to go either/or I don't see full parity ever being a thing.

It looks as though it's not only Bedrock mobs that are crazy right now, I've had many spiders spawn inside blocks that border path blocks AND (as mentioned in this video about the Bedrock equivalent) I've had iron golems spawn inside the containing blocks for my villagers in a simple iron farm (FULLY inside the blocks with about 5 pixels of golem beanies perched on the villager workstations!) on Java 1.21.4. They just can't leave it alone man! Gotta get a cup of Java goin when you're playing with Bedrock code, obvs!

5:27 Wait a second, that was a bug? No wonder why I couldn't get the Creaking to spawn. Because there wasn't much Trees in the biome to have hearts in it to even get to them to spawn in the first place. I hope they fix that soon. Because I would hate to see people try and find the Creaking, and then come across a small Pale Garden with no Hearts in it. :( EDIT: By the way, if your wondering, that was based off of my first ever experience in a Pale Garden since my burn out that happened last year. At first, I just called the Creaking "Camara shy", but after a whole night came and went, I was just disappointed in the results. Because I was hoping to actually encounter one for the first time since the Update. But I just didn't. Which was pretty sad.
