As for the date, it’s right before thanksgiving and I doubt they would want to release the wave on thanksgiving eve. November 15th (with the trailer on November 9th) seems like a much better solution. This is kind of a nitpick, but i had to say this. Dino Dino or DK Mountain will likely be revealed alongside PPC or PPP in the September direct. With that in mind, Airship will likely be the first 30 seconds of the trailer, and the rest will be Wii rainbow road’s music with no music change.

I have a banger idea to make Airship Fortress even better. What if as you are about to start the final lap, the area around the finish line just started crumbling like in Grumble Volcano because that area has been hit by bullet bills nonstop since Mario Kart DS came out. In every game that the track was in, you could see marks in the platform from the bullet bills hitting, so what if the platform finally gave out. Maybe some cracks could pop out and form a ramp for you to trick off of. I really need to be giving Nintendo ideas like this because this one is a banger.

Great lineup, same as mine, but I just don’t know what the order of tracks will be, except for the cities and Rainbow Road. BC3 is simple layout wise but it’s a Bowser’s Castle with hard obstacles. Cove is also a simple track that could work as the second spot, or it can be the fourth, or sixth. DK Mountain or Airship could end the Acorn cup since their both fan favorites like Waluigi Pinball and Maple Treeway. Pipeline could work as a Acorn ender or second Spiny slot. I just don’t know what the order could be.

I personally think we don't need a BCP 2 because we still need some banger remakes in Mario Kart 9 when it comes out. We don't want to get all the tracks in MK8DX and then have to play those tracks for another decade. I personally don't think Mushroom Bridge will happen because we already have so many city courses in the game and Mushroom Bridge is just too simple for a final wave. It's possible it got replaced by Moonview Highway. I think DK Mountain will be in the last wave because of the glow up it got in TOUR. Dino Dino Jungle was in the game from the start and is almost a direct port from MK7. DK Mountain got huge upgrade from MKWii. But one way or another, the banger song will be in MK8DX by the end of the year.

I don't think Airship and Castle are that similar, tbh. Especially if they take the tour version and revert it back to the original purple cloudy aesthetic which they have to know is more popular. Besides, we've been starving for enemy themed tracks since the base game, so getting more than one makes sense, and wave 6 is the most fitting place to have them.

I think a lot of people don’t believe we’re getting the GCN tracks in tour (mushroom bridge is another traffic course and DKM and DDJ share the same music).
