for anyone watching this video in the future, when you dash its like your character moves a smidge and then leaps forward. Hit the block button before your character leaps forward and you'll wave dash. From there try to repeat that concept and you'll be able to wave dash infinitely

@@PsychicJaguar19 i mean, in my opinion you can see how skilled a player is by watching his decision making, not his execution. There are a lot of players who use wavedash and flawless block way more than sonicfox, yet hes still the best. Execution still counts of course, just nowhere near as the decision making does.

@@marcostolpovic4725 what you're saying isn't wrong at all. But Sonic still does it a lot. You can't really be a top player if you don't do those things. Flawless blocking projectiles, jump ins, gaps, out of hit stun, those are just necessary things to excel in the game. And if you want to play optimally, then yeah you need to know how to wave dash. Joker has one of the best wave dashes in the game so of course Sonic has his wavies down. I main Jax and most of the Jaxs I see online dont wave dash and they can get zoned out easier. It becomes a different story when you know how to wave dash with Jax.

@@PsychicJaguar19 thats true, i just think those two mechanics are way too hard to execute. Like, how many pros do we actually see using the wavedash properly and consistently? Not many, and how many times did we see a flawless block attempt going wrong? Way too many times since we are talking about high level gameplay. I get to the conclusion that those two mechanics are too hard just by thinking that not even pros are consistent with them.

@@marcostolpovic4725 nah that’s crazy. Hayatei and ninjakilla are the most consistent wave dashers off the top of my head, their movement is just crazy. And Grr, biohazard, and honeybee are players who are always flawless blocking .

Sometimes tutorials say the inputs are: Forward Forward Block Forward Block Forward Block Forward Block Others say it’s Forward Forward Block Forward Forward Block Forward Forward Block Yours seems like the first one? Also, what is the difference between dash blocking and wave dashing? When showing jokers you went over this but I honestly don’t get it. Thanks man
