i get the feeling that ohtani was either rushed or not as passionate about lost world and forces tbh. lost world sounds painfully generic and forces sounds like it was never revised past the early drafts, but then you look at stuff like runners (which was after lost world) and it's filled with the same passion that unleashed and 06's music had

It’s a shame they weren’t able to have more than. A year to program with the new engine. Because they could of done stuff to this extent instead of playing it safe. Were in 2020 and the software is way better. They don’t have to program like they’re in the early 2000s anymore.

Now this is something I would love to see more of. Sonic 06 with forces aspects that would make for a great remix mod. 06 was generally a good game, there where a few small things wrong with it but I think 06 wasn't that bad of a game. The only thing I thought that was bad with it was the physics but other than that it was not that bad of a game.
