When I got a Nintendo 64 in I believe 97' it was the best Christmas ever in my life. I was born when the first Nintendo came out. The amount of simple fun my friends and I had playing Golden eye 007, Zelda, pilot wings, Diddy Kong racing ect. I Kno this is game cube but wow what an an era kids of this generation have no idea of. It's too easy now days for the dopamine dump of direct access to every movie and game on your couch. Friday's were so much fun getting ready to go out the door to hit up the pizza joint and block buster. The social interaction picking out a film is unparalleled to nowadays. Nostalgia

I rented this game from Blockbuster, one of the best and most addictive games I ever had the pleasure to play on gamecube, surprisingly shocked me because I wasnt a fan of the n64 one, but I was obsessed with playing this one in order to unlock the Dolphin, which I finally did and was amazing to ride!!

Such a great game. Jetski racing games seem to have fallen out of favor, but I'd love another one in this era. If the water and waves reacted this well in 2001, imagine how much better they'd be now at 1080p 60 frames with HD rumble. Wave Race and Jet Moto need to be revived.

Wave Race Blue Storm later gained some competition with the release of Jet X2O in late October 2002, which combined elements of snowboarding racing games with jet ski racing games. Jet X2O had mixed to slightly positive reviews but did not sell well due to its shorter length.

GameGube was in the middle of processing power. Faster than the PS2, but significantly behind the X-Box. There is no way the GameCube would have ran Halo, for example. The original X-Box was using a modified GeForce 3 from extremely high-end gaming PCs at the time.
