I was all alone in a town away from home this year for uni, and it was the worst year of my life. I found this song towards the end of the year and grew so attached to it with no real reason at the time other than the fact that it sounded good. I listened to it over and over. Now that I'm back home for the holidays im revisiting this and digesting the lyrics and crying because this is everything I felt at the time. I just didn't make the intentional connection. Visiting the lyrics mv again!! This song is my favorite in the album hehe. It's just so calming. It expresses my thoughts, my overthinking. How i'm struggling with my own self. "Lost in my dreams" i relate to this the most. I'm full of fears because of how the world is today. I see myself drifting slowly with my parents. I wanna feel home again. (ik i'm still young but i can't really express my feelings that well. I tend to just hide all of it. I'd rather save others before myself.)

I'm not even a fan of this kind of genre. I usually listen to heavy distorted guitar and groovy bass music, but it's been 2 weeks since I heard this song and the whole album is on repeat since then, never skipped a song. I just tried to listen to this song out of curiosity and leave it without minding the lyrics. Now, this is my favorite song in the album along with "love.". I guess life isn't the only thing that has different seasons on it.

I always like this song before but at the time where this song is being played is where I found out that I no cure to be able to hear in my left ear. Additional to that, the lyrics makes me cry even more where I lost all of my hope and cry at convenience store while people are staring at me after the hearing test 😭 (ofc I don't care) but still this song still comforted me that I was still able to hear music despite being deaf in my left ear.
