He's very versatile for sure. Sparg0 is really good at squad strike and uses other characters well in online tournaments where the stakes are low, but he hasn't proven he can do well in big tournaments with characters aside from Aegis and Cloud. To be fair, using these two has worked extremely well for him, so I get why he isn't encouraged to pull out random characters like Leo does.

Technically yes but if Leo missed a counter he leaves himself wide open 4 a punish so it's a risky option

Sonic's spibdash continues moving between some counters' freezing cinematic and the start up of the attack itself.

With Corrin, you can actually counter Sonic's ground spin with the forward smash charge up. The chainsword is actually really good against Sonic, Jigglypuff, and Yoshi players who over-use their rolling attacks. Of course, likely Sonix knows about that trap, it looked like he was baiting Leo into trying that. I've had Sonic players do that to me before, but I fully admit I use that charge up way too often.
