Hello Mr Lismore, you make a very great work, THANKS! Do you know, can we use for test Waveform 11 + 12 on the same PC system, or must we delete one, to install the other?

Thanks! Yes you can have both installed on the same machine, no problem at all. Just make sure to remember which projects are which because once you open one in W12 you won’t be able to use it in W11 anymore (probably because of the entirely overhauled audio engine). What software are you testing on it?

@@tracktionwaveformtips At the moment I use Waveform 11 on a Win 7 PC. And I want to test Waveform 12 Free first on the same PC, if these 12 running without any problems.

@@blueeyedcat3443 oh I see. What’s the benefit of keeping a PC on Windows 7, as a matter of interest? I’m guessing it’s 32 bit plugin support and/or relating to machine spec? Do I recall that you also use Linux?

@@tracktionwaveformtips I don`t use Linux. My Windows 7 is running stable, without problems, since 2011. I have the 64 bit version. I can use older plugins, they are no run on newer win systems. I`ve heard from friends, her Win 11 system is crashing / have problems after the automatically windows updates. The only problem was by me, that the Synth Vital + Kontakt Native Access don`t run on my old simple graphic cards, because they no support newer DirectX 12 and OpenGL 4.5 versions, only OpenGL 1.2. I have installed last Friday a new graphic card. These is running beautiful. Daniel

I personally prefer working in dark mode but it’ll definitely be worth trying a few videos in light mode to see how people react. I wonder what ratio there is between users of light vs dark. Also, thanks for the feedback on not understanding me, I’ll see what I can do in future videos. Hopefully I’ll make myself more universally clear.

I personally prefer working in dark mode too, but its much easier to see video details if the vid is in white mode. imo only. just the contrast is stronger. for vids only, i also work in dark mode, but a light mode for vids would be easier for me to look at. thnx for good work.
