WaveLab is so ahead of the competition. There's so much to love. First and foremost, it's so damn quick and snappy - as in no lag or sluggishness, you can loop small wave cycles if you want and then drag the selection range around and it will play without any hickups or interruptions whatsoever. Secondly, I love the power and effectiveness - things you can accomplish that other tools can't match - like those demonstrated in this video, and those features come in abundance. Last thing to love is the HOW, in how you do things in WaveLab: the workflow is very streamlined and thought through, something Steinberg does really well. If you're into sound design/engineering/mixing/mastering, WL is a friend for life.

Great video. Question though: I'm using WaveLab Elements 9.5 to remove noise from a wav file. It works great while I'm listening to it. But when I render it doesn't seem to work at all. It's like it's bypassing the master section where the RestoreRig plugin is, even though I did not check the "bypass master section" box. What am I doing wrong?

Hello, thanks you for that interesting facts about rendering. I have one problem though, the rendered file is much longer that the original, there is almost at least 30 sec at the end of the result file. I could not fine the reason for the, dou you have any idea? Of course I can edit the result file and cut the tail off, but i was hoping there is one parameter for that. Martin
