Never be afraid to change to a new character, as gear and companions stay with you, lets you experiment and try out all the characters if you so choose!

I've spent over 5 hours and now understood how dumb I'm. I'm gonna start with IOP once again going for 1 elemental (fire) with more attention to my build and common easy upgradable items!

Theres no mistakes in this game! So much of your progress carries over in terms of equipment and companions. WAVEN is a very alt-friendly game

I'd almost never recommend being monoelemental, except for a few classes like ice iop, its always good to have a secondary element to active the passive of each class, depending on just 1 or 2 spells on your deck is hard, even with a 9 spell deck

Its a progressive thing. I say its the easiest to start with a single element, get used to gauge increases, get used to elemental statuses, etc. Then once you find some interesting combinations, multi-element builds become the next step

Depends entirely on your game plan, if you want as much spell damage as you can mono element is the good stuff

Companions open up different combos trees if properly leveled and rune'd. I have a couple videos showcasing how powerful companions can become.

Don't get me wrong companions can and are useful for some builds, in terms of using kamas to upgrade... most of the time they just die in a turn anyways lmao.

I just started, already level 33, Im building an IOP (spectral) focusing on companion power and it works great! (so far) the synergies are fun and they get pretty strong

There is a hotfix happening in about 1 Hour to address this. It's a known issue. Hopefully in a few hours you will be able to use the shops!!

It's hard doing a tier list without getting experience with most of the classes. I will work on one soon with a bit of bias LMAO

Can you buy from the shops? Or the footage of this video from the demo? Some people are experiencing problems with buying items from the shop at the center of the island or the shop at the end of a dungeon. Thanks in advance!

i just started and finished reasuring the vilagers then it told me to go to the rift and i finished it but the dialogue dont change? am i missing something

There is a way to reset runes? Im avoiding using it cause i dont know if it's going to be a mistake. Great video btw

Any equipment/spell/companion rune is permanent. Most builds wont need rune investment until level 35+. Play a class and if you REALLY enjoy it, you can consider investing with runes at a later time

Great question! Be sure to ALWAYS take spell runes when available. After that, pick what looks good! I am a firm believer of selecting anything new just so you have a large assortment of spells just incase anything changes with your build

Yeah! The big thing here is not the skills but the equipment. My bracer applies [ROCK] when I attack. 2 of my 4 rings do the following: Heal a portion of damage dealt by rock, and apply a rock when an enemy is killed by an earth spell. My other ring increases the healing done by me. So the spells dont matter, its all about the equipment synergy. Since im doing so many small heals, each of them are applying the Scalpel passive which deals damage to the highest HP and lowest HP enemy. You can do the same strat with all 4 elements as long as you have the correct rings.

@@Thriftshoppin ya saw your Scalpel Earth Build, but Earth is not for every Eni Class i guess.. i play my Lifesteal eni class with water right now. I dont know if it makes sense :D

hi thrift! i just one say on your suggestions... i played a companion focused eni ever since alpha and it primarily depends on investing on them... if you have any question on theorycrafting and etc feel free to ask me or ill be happy to help you out creating new and fun builds.. i heavily played alot of this game and cant wait til it launches later

Thanks for the comment! I think my take on companions became a bit misconstrued... Companions ARE and WILL be important to builds, its just the kama investment to level them up in comparison to an armband or ring is worse due to their lack of survivability. Thats just a fact in the alpha/beta versions we've had. In some cases like kokoro eni you can keep companions alive, but thats an extremely niche build that isnt possible for other class/characters. For most, its a summon for a turn with some nice bonuses then YEET. Much love, hope we can play together sometime!

@@Thriftshoppin totally agreed on ur take.. for rings back on beta/alpha "Magik ring" is the best investment as it give ch wen upgraded with runes and can be used on all characters due to increase in all elements... wats fun about waven is you can custom build ur char based on ur playstyle.. companion kokoro takes so much investment and i used kasai iop to invest on it since it only takes minimal investment to the point i farmen 5stars... will wsit for launch later and i can tag along with ya so we can show how amazing this game is.. see ya

Brutal Fiarblade (default Iop class) is easy to play. Good damage. Lots of armour for survivability.

the battle pass gives stuff, but that stuff is either cosmetic or strictly for PVE, saves you a little bit of grind time.
