Apparently, Steven Tyler was recording in the studio next to this one. When he heard that Slash was going to record this cover with Brian Johnson, he asked if he could join them and play harmonica on it.

Good one! Like the Walk This Way video! But according to an interview with Slash on radio station Q104.3, Slash told Tyler he intended to put harmonica on the song and Tyler said great, let me do it, as follows: "I told [Tyler] I was putting harmonica on that song, and he goes, 'Oh, let me do it!'" he continued. "He showed up literally, like, within the hour and put this great impromptu harp on it and a little bit of vocal thing on there. It's really cool." One of the things I love about this is the collegial relationships, including discussing their work, among great musicians. All this musical magic does not occur in a vacuum.

Slash is releasing a blues rock album around May. Slash has some good solo projects with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. Would recommend is Apocalyptic Love album, pure hard rock🙏

there lots of versions of this song, but it was first done by howlin wolf, i do think this version sounds more like of a mix of albert king and joe bonamassa's versions...but it's slash's song now, and yes that is stephen tyler and brian johnson with him.
