The bassist is Yoshida Ichiro, the former member to Zazen Boys (a math rock/new wave band founded by then-ex Number Girls Mukai Shutoku) while the keyboardist is Kie Katagi from a post-rock/nu jazz band jizue who sounds like British nu jazz band GoGo Penguin. The drummer is BOBO, who also frequently plays for MIYAVI.

It's crazy but as far as interview and documentary goes, yes he did much of the lyrics and composition writing for all songs by himself. The process always has him writing and demoing (on DAW of course) all parts in advance, which then being sent out to his collab members and he'll let them to provide their creative feedback incl. suggesting new composition ideas so that he could flesh out his song further. Fun story: At one occasion, he composed a strings section to one of his song Sainou. He then sent them to a classical strings quartet he's working with in a rough demo, which caught the players off-guard because they're having difficulty to follow it🤭 He then decided to hire a session composer to help transcribing it into scores but nonetheless, one violinist admitted his arrangement is hard and "kinda scary" to perform.

one of my friends who always goes to tk concerts told me that TK is a god musician in Japan, and why her call him a god musician is because tk is not at underground level or mainstream level, he is entirely music itself..I don't believe him because I can't understand Japanese and how unique his vocals are, but after I saw his own music lyrics..I understand how her feels about TK...sometimes I felt so jealous because I've feelings for her😅🤣
