Waverley at Ilfracombe

In todays EXTRAS video, we find an Waverley and go see her.
Waverley, the LAST sea going paddle steamer in the world, was built in 1946 for Clyde services in Scotland. And entered service in 1947, serving various Steam Packet companies over her career.
In her retirement, she does excursion trips all around the UK!!

A rough old sea especially as she goes astern into waves. Microphone must have been next to funnels when she left pier!

It certainly was rough out there! Glad I used the fluffy thing on my microphone to stop the wind noise! I was very close as she whistled when leaving the harbour, and I think the echo from the hills and town made it louder aswell! Thanks for watching.
