The trip I had on my visit back to Scotland after a 50 year absence, was up the Firth of Clyde aboard the SS Waverley . A fabulous trip even if it rained all day. The thing that sticks in my mind is the fact that when we left Rothesay pier, we left in reverse until we were well out into the channel. It went as fast astern as it did forward.

I’m famous🤣🤣. It was a fantastic day trip on The Waverley.Round the Isle of Wight. Although the person filming this my have only travelled as far as Yarmouth.

It was just used to push the ship around until it was facing out of the harbour.
