Haha! Now that’s a movie I haven’t watched in far too long a time, what a blast that is! The DBP plugins are really nice. They sound to me, so authentically warm and like an old rack mount type unit. I just got the delay and am doing a video with it and the other 2 from this video soon.

Beautiful, rich sounds with this app. I suspect we'll have some IAPs in the near future. The only thing I don't particularly care for is the interface for browsing through the presets. Even a simple drop-down, scrollable list would be much better, imho. But another high-quality app from a great developer.

Rob decided to go down the route of making the app a tiny bit more expensive but including extra sounds. I never thought about the method of preset selection. I’m not a keyboard player as such, I’m a string twanger who dabbles with keys. But I would never play them live really. For me, selecting a preset is just about finding a sound for a recording so a little pissypanting around to get there isn’t a huge deal. 😂

@@JamieMallender I have a question. I have this app called Drum Session but it does not support audio unit extension so I can use it on GarageBand. And Record with my music. I am having a really really really hard time finding a good drum app that supports audio unit extension in fact I don’t think I know any apps. And I struggle for more than three years looking for something and I cannot find anything around. Do you know any realistic Drums app out there that supports audio unit extension like drum session? Which of courts in the moment is the only one I know that sounds super real because it’s using real samples of drums. And I can trigger it with a midi keyboard also. I don’t want loops. I want full control of the sound with my keyboard. And I want Real drums like rock drums jazz drums anything that is real. I’m not looking for hip-hop or reggae or any electronics. Let me know if you know anything out there for iOS. Thank you so much I really appreciate it remember support for Audio unit extension. and midi controller and to be real drums.

Well now this is a good question. There are so many great electronic drum apps on iOS but for real drums that are also AUV3 we are limited. The Acoustic drums in BeatHawk are very good. I often use DigiStix and load some great drum samples that I have into it because it can take multiple layers.
