I am sorry to hear about Waverly's cancer. I didn't think foxes got cancer until recently. It brings tears to my eyes to hear the news about her. I am getting skin cancers these days and just had another one removed three days ago. I do pray that someday cancer will be cured both in humans and animals.

She has had such a great life after you saved her. Thank you so much. I have only ever adopted rescues from the shelter and my dog is sick currently with something that will eventually end his life most likely and it’s so terrible but he lived a great life and I did what I could.

When I was a child, my beloved dog got bone cancer, and it was so painful to watch. I remember her limping around and we thought she had hurt herself, we'd take her to the vet and they'd say she's faking it. She started sleeping way more than usual, even for an old dog, and we could tell she was just always in pain. Finally on the day before my 11th birthday, my parents took her to the vet, and they did some tests and found she had bone cancer. My parents decided then and there to put her down because they didn't want her to be miserable for the rest of her life. That was such a depressing birthday. So I'm quite sad to hear that Waverly has bone cancer.

I had a cat pass away from cancer when I was a child. We didn’t know it at the time in its early stage because the first sign was copious amounts of vomiting, but we had another cat that just vomited like crazy because that was just how he was, so we couldn’t tell that one of our beloved cats was sick. We ended up separating them when we finally found out. He stayed at the vet hospital for the rest of his life, and the other cat that was normally barfy because he maybe liked to groom himself a bit too much became lonely, wouldn’t stop crying and wailing and became less shy around people.

I'm so sad to hear about Waverly's prognosis. Though, unfortunately, it probably was not a big surprise. You've given her a _much_ better, longer life than she would have lived without you. I remember how heartbreaking it was when Mouse passed. At least they will be together again, with no more pain.
