Something that blows me away about the production community is that people are always sharing samples and packs (not always I know but in general) and usually everyone makes something different and unique in its own way. Music is wild

Time stretch/ pitch shift is always impressive Especially pitch shifting drum loop chops and vocals as well , add some delay first so it’s part of the sample. Works great as a fill at the end of your Revolution . Good stuff

Ahaha I definitely relate to the vibe of this session, where I’m trying to explain what I’m working on to someone who doesn’t produce (another type of artist or friends or family) & they’re just like “I have no idea what the f*** you’re talking about, but it sounds fire!” Hahah honestly though, that’s good feedback. Any fellow producer can be supportive of what you’re doing or where your head is generally at, but when someone with no concept of how much learning goes into it gives it the thumbs up, the “it’s fire, bro!” That’s a good sign that you aren’t just throwing technical complexity at the wall or doing things correctly by the book, but that it actually simply sounds dope to an unprompted audience, which at the end of the day is what matters.

How? U do know that Hip Hop was built on sampling, 'cause the government targeted black comnunities & took away funding in public education, which means no music programs... so the pioneers flipped the old & made it new again. They made the turntable an instrument. U do know that, right?
