its such a cool visualizer. cant wait to see what a fully sequenced song will look like. already working on a few

great new tool, though i wish there were forums where people would put out their waves and instruments so I could start playing around with this tool by writing tracks and not wrangligh the instrument maker

looks amazing but i was so incredibly confused by the instrument selection process 😭

Same. The big thing is to select the wave you want to use in the instrument like you would with a volume envelope. Took a while for me to figure out

@Apticx3 ай бұрын
You are in for a ride then. Its a very different flow but super fast and fun once you got the basics down. If you are looking for guides then famitracker is very similar in structure. Im planning to upload a few tutorials once i am comfortable myself so check back in a week or so

I already use Furnace, OpenMPT, FL Studio, Famitracker (not anymore since I just use furnace instead) and LMMS. This looks really cool but I honestly don't need to learn a new tracker. It'll take a while to learn and it'll contribute to my problem of having a million unfinished projects scattered across a multitude of programs. I wonder it can do that I can't already do in the other software I use.
@Apticx2 ай бұрын
Its essentially famitracker workflow was (almost identical) so you can just pick it up from there with the only difference that it uses wavetable synthesis and has proper sample playback other than famitracker. Its more of a "unlocked" tracker that doesent follow the rules of a soundchip but just lets you do what you want. If you really want a tracker that can do it all then check out renoise. its essentially ableton live with a tracker instead of a piano roll. it supports vst plugins etc and has no limits.
@samkid1232 ай бұрын
how's the song goin?
@Apticx2 ай бұрын
Still a work in progress. Working on a lot right now that's higher priority. Not sure when its done but it will definitely be finished at some time. Guessing another few weeks.
@Maroyakana13 ай бұрын
wait so is this basically a snes tracker?
@BlackbeltHitoshi3 ай бұрын
It can't be, the SNES smoothens out samples with makes them sound soft, wave tracker is made to sound like an actual wavetable.
@Apticx3 ай бұрын
Its very close to famitracker in workflow but its not emulating soundchips. Its a mix of wavetable synthesis and samples and its a lot of fun
@Maroyakana13 ай бұрын
