Waving Through A Window - Dear Evan Hansen [Cover by David Rowen, feat. Austin Colby, & Nick Lehan]

In 2015, I had the privilege of seeing the first staged production of Dear Evan Hansen at Arena Stage in Washington, DC. I am so glad that it has finally made it’s way to Broadway because the show is chock full of catchy tunes fulfilled by beautiful performances. When I first heard the anthem song, “Waving Through A Window,” I listened to it on repeat for hours at a time. Naturally, the wheels started turning, and I knew I would cover it and put my own spin on it someday, and that day has arrived.
I am pumped to be singing with two of my best friends, Austin Colby and Nick Lehan. We love singing together whenever we can, so collaborating as a trio was very special for us. We hope you have as much fun watching this video and listening to this arrangement as we did putting it together!

This arrangement does not get enough credit for how great this really is. I usually am never a fan of any cover especially of one so dear to my heart like "Waving Through A Window" but when a cover puts you in tears because the harmony and voices are just so breathtaking that's where I draw the line. Anyway, amazing cover and almost 49,000 reviews are just not enough. Wish this cover was on Spotify.
