It's a really great dongle, sort of all in one, 3 displays, 4 USB, ethernet and both sd cards, I really liked it, I just wish it had support for a higher refresh rate, at least on single output. I hope there is no heating issue. By the way, btw did you try all the ports at the same time ?

Being usb-c it can work with macbook air, but it might not allow more than one external monitor as there's a limit on the macbook itself. The new m4 macbook supports upto 2 external monitors.

When in single and dual monitor mode it can be set to 4k@60, in triple monitor mode they are all set to 1080p.
