I always loved the intro during this era! The combination of the music, the visuals, and the editing gave it such a major-market feel!

The "Wall to Wall News" track was the best theme for WAVY. Plus, the intro voiceover guy is none other than Charlie Van Dyke. He did a few intros for NBC affiliates like KAGS (College Station, TX) and KPNX (Phoenix, AZ), but he is best remembered for what he did in my area during my childhood... the iconic intros for WPVI (ABC Philadelphia, PA) from 2009-23.
