But it was considered new skool already compared to gabberhouse ‘early hardcore’ from p.e. ‘97. Looking back it’s crazy how music production software changed from then. I’m Canadian discovered Dutch hardcore when I was 14 back in 2007 after a friend introduced me to UK/Happy Hardcore which lead me to hardstyle and dutch hardcore through KZbin. Thwt shit was mind blowing for a young teenage me because electronic music hasn’t really blown up here yet like it would a couple years later and all I knew about was trance and house and techno so to hear these high bpm heavy electronic songs was crazy to me. I’ve been in love ever since. I prefer UK Hardcore but still listen to the Dutch stuff almost daily.
