So when he makes beats it translates in his rhythm and timing. As far as drum samples go, everyone and anyone can get and has drums like that. agreed...I like all the RR vids but its lame when the dudes just hover around the Soul section then act surprised when they get some Al Green record or some shit..I wanna see Alc making a beat from a Spice Girls Minidisc

Pitched the sample descending chromatically on each down beat...likely looking for the best place to put it harmonically.

Araabmuzik and 9th Wonder are the kings of sampling.

Finesse Um the kings of sampling are DJ Premier, DJ Revolution and 9th Wonder in my opinion. Don't get me wrong this Araab shit was dope but I wouldn't put him up there with those other guys I mentioned. Then again I'm old school.

Finesse y'all are newbies, sure all those producers are great but they will all tell you Pete Rock, Dilla, madlib, and premier are the best of all time. You'll shit your pants hearing what Pete Rock flipped for the center of attention album, from nothing to gold.

Seriously one of my favorite rhythm roulette beats. This and 9th's I think are two of the best (not to ignore other great ones).

Henrique Lopes I sample off CDs lol. My older sister has a 10 year collection of just R&B and soul CDs so I was like why not use them
@playgroundofsound76837 жыл бұрын
Henrique Lopes props for the originality but I would just pull up the cd on Spotify and sample from that . Seems like it would be easier

That Dramatics cd brought me back to when my uncle used to live with us and would get drunk off a 40 oz of king cobra and kick back and play their album and chop it up. Good times

Kind of crazy how he can take a song and create a beat out of nothing. Seems super complicated honestly.

with new software like Serato Sample its not that difficult but his drumming is off the chain, one of the greatest out there!!!

It is lol. But it takes years and years of consistent experience, then it can become second nature, which was the case for him.

Complicated yes ... coming up with something from nothing . No .... It's already laid out . Dramatics are ill already . Their instrumentation is so nice already .

This video proves a few things. You finally get a sought after producer to do an episode and y'all still nitpick and shit on him for the smallest of things. Dude created a dope beat. He could have walked into the Cumbia or Classic rock section and done equal amount of dopeness. Just saying. Be thankful this show is still on.

He had lay-up beats to work with, but he completely smashed. HIs command and control of his apparatus is high-level.
