1989 is an album of hers, named after her birth year. The 1989 tour had an intentional 80's sort of vibe to it, as well. To your point about every song/video being different, Taylor has said she doesnt ever want to make the same song twice. She can play several instruments, including acoustic guitar, piano, and banjo. She has been working on her music since she was a preteen so she has been practicing for literally decades. Her versatility is why we always say she IS the genre. Also, have you not reacted to End Game? Because she has a rap verse in that. Also, if you never saw Thug Story with T-Pain you definitely should. It's a riot.

Taylor was at a radio station and she rapped a little of Nikki Minja a song called Super Bass and I guess that helped the song and Nikki always thanks Taylor for it. Taylor had Nikki as a guest during her "Speak Now Tour and they sang Super Bass together. There was also another time that they sang together at the 2015 VMA show.

She pretty much writes all of her music on an acoustic guitar or a piano. Just depends. So she can basically change any song she wants since she’s writing them and thinking of most of the beats. Like for her eras tour her surprise songs are one on a piano and one on an acoustic guitar. And it can be any song she’s ever written including for anyone else. So that’s a lot of options. To be able to change all of those songs whenever you want is a talent in itself honestly.

As some have already said 1989 is an album, an homage to Taylor's birth year. That was an electric guitar, and when she did Death by a Thousand Cuts she used an acoustic guitar. She also plays piano, banjo, and the ukulele. I have a suspicion she has dabbled in other instruments.

Taylor wrote a rap song called Thug Story, she sang it with T-Pain, there used to be an official MV, but it was taken off YT, there is a lyric video by LA Julao that has pretty decent quality has far as sound goes. The song was done for an awards show, it was meant to be a parody off of Love Story. Taylor lyrics "You don't wanna fight me in my extra small white tee".

1989 is her 5th album and first pure pop album, one of the most iconic pop albums ever. This song was on her prior album "red" so she had already played it that past tour -but since it's one of her more massive hits she's playing it again but with a twist which is fun for fans who went to both tours. In her current tour she sings a 40+ song set list and every show she sings two different songs each show: one acoustic song on the guitar and piano from her catalog, really showing her talents.
