I didn’t realize this was new lol. I watched Kyden do that long ago and have been (sometimes) doing it since. Feels like Cooler is having a kind of resurgence in the game and I’m loving it. He’s been one of my favorites since his release.

Are we going to see Cooler become meta? Please, let it be so. Also, I want to say that I think it's funny how Wawa whiffed j.2H several times and didn't get punished for it. That's how you know this tech puts the fear of God in your opponents

@@Kitsune986 like I said, he’s good. Everyone’s good. But there’s generally no reason to put him above any other characters objectively, so he goes below them. The things he has going for him don’t make him better than anyone else

@@socio637 But there is, lol. A lot of of the stuff he has objectively makes him better than so many characters. Consistent 2-touches. Oki is almost unrivaled. Amazing pressure from close range and long range (his long range staggers are actually stupid). All of his assists are great. Has strong neutral presence/control. Even without this tech, Cooler is high tier free

Base Vegeta has this as well. IDK about any other character. Cooler's had this forever (that Kyden apparently used often, but never shared it). It was only brought to light five days ago. People didn't use him before this because they thought he sucked and was bottom 5. Which is insane to me because he has so much more going for him apart from his j.2H tech, but whatever

Cooler's jumping 2H is so large that the hitbox hits crossup if done very close to the ground and right in your opponent's face. It acts as an instant crossup mid and doesn't work in the corner. To give you an example, the fastest crossup possible is an Instant Air Dash into jumping light at 21 frames of startup total and Cooler does it too at 21 frames total without the visual cue to react. TLDR: Cooler's j2H instant crossup is broken and it will be patched, abuse it while you can
