Being a Philadelphian who grew up with Wawas, I couldn't image life without Wawa. It's bittersweet that they are expanding into other states as it was always our thing. And yes, South Jersey and North Delaware I'm including you guys too.

When I left Jersey for Upstate NY 22 years ago, Wawa didn't have all this stuff, but what they had was killer. They had hoagies, coffee, cheese dogs, frozen coffee in the summer, basic stuff. But it was really good.

There’s still a few OG Wawa Markets without gas pumps operating in mid to southern DE. They are slowly closing and getting replaced by the SUPER WAWAS getting built in the same district. The latest one to close was on 13 at the intersection of 896 northwest of Middletown. There used to be one at 13 and the intersection of Hamburg road a long time ago. You can tell it was a wawa. Now it’s a buy here pay here used car dealer😂
