This prevented the subscriber gap (sub gap) from shrinking too much. Then, PewDiePie made a disstrack song criticism T-Series (and surprisingly India!!) called Bitch Lasagna and you're saying that he doesn't care about that 🤣 grow up bro And that disstrack started a shit storm between the Pewdiepie followers of the Western world and India because he criticize our language and our country, which continues to this day. And finally, in this whole melodrama, India is at the receiving end of unreasonable criticism from quite a few Westerners (not all, reasoning still exists you know!!) Needless to say, this is a massive well planned strategy from PewDiePie to gain attention and btw T series doesn't give a fuck about this

T-Series was supposed to overtake Pewds on Halloween 2018 but Pewdiepie managed to stay ahead for 6 months and gain almost 30 million new subscribers. Without the P vs T war, Pewdiepie may have not hit 100 million subscribers until late 2021 at the earliest.

I remember watching the live social blade counts and it seemed quite clear at the time that T-Series was sub botting, either themselves or with the assistance of KZbin (it's no secret that KZbin was eager to see PewDiePie dethroned). Their rate of new subscribers was ridiculously consistent, even when it was 3 or 4am in India where undoubtedly a majority of their subscribers would have been coming from. Obviously, a lot of PewDiePie's new subs came from the creation of alt accounts and probably even sub bots - but it always felt much more organic.

Cucumber tseries aren’t taking anything down. TSeries is basically Indian KZbin music. Make an account in India and you recommended is COMPLETELY FULL of tseries videos, trust me I have tried it. Even if you watch only pewdiepie videos and nothing else on the account you are still shown tseries videos in at least 1 in 4 video slots. Makes no sense. Pewdiepie does not get that, yet he still managed to get this far. This is amazing and an incredible achievement even if he does not make 100m first.
