I really appreciate your commitment and passion to the Rotary Mixer community. Another great review from someone that gets it!

Those chonky knobs remind me of the volume and tuning knobs on the sansui g series receivers. So cool.

Magnifique, pretty cool, and the oak siding with white face is very clean. Really like these reviews, have an Elara linear in my wishlist (to replace my Vestax O7 Pro).

Super cool. I would like to see a 2 channel version with 4 band isolator (bass splitted in sub and kickbass). Then this would definetely be on my wishlist!

I’m not sure about the Master volume being that close to the ISO and underneath it 😮

Makes me wonder how the smaller, more compact rotary mixers would feel with a select few taller aftermarket knobs!

DJ since '86. Looks great, natural wood would be better imo. In 2024/5.. you have to have a filter for $2500+.. c'mon and no, 3 band Iso EQ isnt the same
@verybighomer16 сағат бұрын
You can get it with natural wood and silver plate, also very beautiful. The target audience will probably not care about the "missing" filter. You have FX send/returns per channel if you want more sound modification.
@emanuel363616 сағат бұрын
Yeah, but not in 2025.

@@verybighomer I'm in that healthy % of the target audience.. old school DJs (with money) looking for a modern rotary mixer. I'm not getting paid more if I DJ on a rotary or Pio. My audience does not care if I play cassettes, vinyl or FLAC.. they just want the right music. Speakers far more important than a mixer. The ONE thing I want for a $3000 US (I have never paid more than $700 for a mixer and have played on Bozaks, UREI 1620's, quite common in the 80's & 90's), Ranes / Rotarys, all Numark, Stanton, Pio gear is a simple, single knob filter.. for $3,000 I dont want to show up to a gig and have to bring my own echo, filter etc with power and cables. But yeah, as a primarily 90's house DJ (actual) the music was so great (on vinyl) we didnt really need a filter. Respectfully.. thiss and all the other rotary's are spectacular. Ecler's Warm 4 is $1500.. sig path / sound quality a 7.5, appearance/design a 9/10.. but still, no dedicated simple filter yet an oddly included Analogue Subharmonic Synthesizer.. what? Why? There's two bass eqs already smh Pio DJM-750MKII for ~$1300 has all the FX and I'd rather spend the extra $1800 on speakers

@@foundatsea3483 Well, you just wrote you are NOT the target audience. People buying that stuff are seeking the old gear experience, (presumed?) better sound quality and touchy-feely experience. You want a gig ready mixer with FX. People buying that mixer are bedroom DJs, maybe with a small niche hobby YT channel ("Old school house mix vinyl only") or the occasional small famous Boiler Room DJ.

why do they always put the ISOs so cramped next to everything else, it's like they want you to accidentally flip a phono/line switch or turn another knob while using them maybe just diff preferences but for me the ergonomics of the E&S are much better compared to the others

Makes me sad that I shelled out for a V10 and I HATE IT!!! Like I do not enjoy using it at all! And it sounds a bit MEH. It is about to be made homeless and replaced with one of these rotary beauties!
@foundatsea348315 сағат бұрын
Have you A/B'ed it against any others? I'm a finance guy, one strategy would be to get a equity or personal loan against it if short on cash, or rent it out, but you will need insurance against damage or loss. Here in the US, Renters Insurance would cover it, $120 / yr.

Agree. I like the solution with both HPF and LPF on one knob, like on Rane 2015 and some DJM:s. Other than that this seems nice.
@djstuc2 сағат бұрын
It has plenty of send and return options so you can use an external filter if needed. Filters are more things in the signaal chain so often these companies will leave them out to avoid impacting sound quality.
