In 2023 I did the chronological bible study plan. My first time also. did it with a group of ladies. Liked the chronological plan, made sense to me to do it that way. Flowed more like a story, then jumping around. Thank you for sharing your story.

Great tip about the wax paper. I love that you have accomplished reading the entire Bible. I started doing that also 5 years ago and start it all over again at the beginning of the year. It’s an awesome feeling when you’ve discovered something new in the Living Word.

Anna that's an awesome accomplishment! The Bible Recap is what I have been doing this year. I'm almost finished. It's been such a wonderful part of my day spent with God. I truly have no idea how I would make it in this world without Jesus, God's Word and fellow followers of Christ like you. God bless you, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Don’t feel bad. I finally read (actually I listened to a podcast) the whole Bible in a year the first time 3 years ago and I was 73 years old! I have been listening to the podcast for the past 3 years and I find that I will hear something new each time I listen. I keep thinking was that in the Bible in the past years! Lol. Yes I will be doing it again next year.

I'm lucky to have a Woman's bible. And in the back it tells you what to read each day. I'm happy and blessed to say at that at the end of December I have finished the bible for the 2nd time. I'm finding I'm learning more this 2nd time. Also I highlight many of the passages so my bible is very much like a rainbow. Happy you have found your place with Christ. Wishing you and your family a blessed Christmas ❣❣

Fun technique, Anna! I plan on my continued effort to take notes during our new preacher’s hour long (!!!) sermons and then rewrite them later in my journal. I write out the scriptures he’s teaching, which takes a while to do!! He’s an amazing Bible teacher!

Watching replay from Theodore Alabama. Love your tricks on how you put texture on your cards.Love how you turned them into cards. They are all beautiful. It's just to hard to choose just one. Thank you for sharing your techniques and your faith.I have read my Bible through the year from 1989 and I am still reading it through every year since then. Each time I read the Bible through. They are always different things that catches my eye from year to year that didn't catch my eye before. When I first read it through.Hope you and your family have a Merry Chistmas and a Happy New Years. God Bless you all.

Oh my goodness...I do like this to give texture. I have also used a small bubble wrap which is another great idea. (And my advice...do not reuse the same wrinkled up piece on a different ink color...it is only wax paper...tear off a new piece!!) ALSO, THANK YOU for sharing your faith and congrats on completion of reading the bible thru. It always sounds like an easy task but we all struggle with doing so. It is something I started last year but did not get done...2025 I am determined. I do like the versions which do not have you read page #1 thru the end...they make more sense to my brain.

I have read a Bible through every year since 2011, and I still have things jump out at me that I never "knew". Just saw it and it passed me by until I needed it. I read a different version through every year, and I do the same thing, divide the number of pages by 365 and find out how many pages per day will take me through in a year. But sometimes I get so interested I will read and forget how many pages and read more. I finished this year in November so now I just read what seems to speak to me. It is amazing how it helps.

My Bible study group read the Bible through from beginning to end the first year, then the second year we did it chronologically. Each year you read it, you will always discover things you don't remember reading before. It is truly amazing how alive the Bible is! Yes, lots of great aps out there to help you on your journey! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

That is an exciting idea. I am so proud of you and you are so right. We need the guidance the Bible gives for our daily lives. I go to Community Bible Study in my area. There are on line groups as well. I like it because you get to study together with other people. There is accountability because you have a lesson for each week. It begins at the beginning of the school year and ends when the school year ends.

I loved it when you shared about your Bible reading plans. You are right - Hod created us to be in conversation with Him. He is so patient with us. He does chase us, however we must yield and respond to His invitations. I agree that you can read familiar passages and come away with a different perspective. God reaches us through the Holy Spirit. I’m walking that with you, Anna. Never give up/ Always look up! God bless!😊

I’m also planning to read the Bile through in 2025. I’ve never read the Old Testament in its entirety and am looking forward to it. I’ve ordered a one year Bible from Amazon and now that they are on strike, I don’t know if I’ll get it in time but, I have many bibles and I’ll start reading one of them straight from the beginning and see how that goes. God bless you Anna for sharing your faith with us. Merry Christmas if. You celebrate Christmas.

I am a bit sense but if the heart is attached what does the pull actually do to reveal the message under it. Edited to add.. after watching again I think I understand. You actually remove the heart right out which is why you said it would ruin the card. Ahhh

Love it. You will learn so much each time you read the Bible. Dr. Charles Stanley 'In Touch ' program is fanstic!! If you are looking for truth, this will help so much. My wife and I read/study it everyday. His '30 Life Principles Bible Study' is a great study to do. The first card you made was really cute!! A great way to make bases. Thank you. Dr. David Jeremiah is also another wonderful preacher. Okay I'll stop preaching. Lol. Have fun creating everyone.

Bible reading is essential for us to get to know God and His will. He wrote it for us to read it. I read the Bible every year and I change english translations because it helps minimize familiarity. Keep it up. It is alive and useful for righteousness.
