Thank you for doing this. Where would one find that type of wax? What's it called. I'm gathering supplies to make different things. I'm following you. What do you do with the clump off extra wax

Thank you for the sub ❤️ you can find the wax from Amazon, if you search for “wax seal stamp” you should find related products! If you have wax sticks. Simply burn what you need, trim the wick if necessary and burn again when needed. Would it help if I made a video for this?

I enjoy writing letters to people. Recently, I wrote three letters. Two went to two of my teachers I had in elementary school, and one went to some people in my family who I hadn't seen in such a long time. None of those people have written back yet.

@scratchanitch2322 Thank you, but every time I mail letters to those people or anything kind and thoughtful for other people, my mother always tells me that I'm bored and have nothing to do and that I should do more. Sometimes, she uses the word selfish. Whenever any of my brothers do something kind and thoughtful for other people, my mother calls them helpful and considerate people. She never calls them selfish. She never says that they're bored, that they have nothing to do, or that they should do more.

I’m very sorry to hear that you are going through that…I know how much it can hurt :( Just know that you ARE doing something kind and thoughtful for the sake of being kind and thoughtful, regardless of external validation 😊💜 Unfortunately, it’s sometimes hard for some people to see stuff without a negative lens…all we can do is take their feedback/comments, evaluate it to see whether they have a point that applies to reality (from your perspective), and proceed with living accordingly. (Eg, ‘oh, they have a slight point in this perticular topic, let’s see how I can improve.’ Or the opposite: ‘hmm, I don’t really see the point they are trying to make…well, I can ask them to say it in a different and *constructive* way, but if it’s clearly illogical and has no truth to it, I can disregard it.’) As long as you are happy with your effort made in attempt to brighten someone else’s day, you have done all you can and you have done something positive! Keep shining bright Hannah! ✨ (My apologies for the long speech, I hope it helps someone in this world :D )

I really dislike the candle method, so I normally end up cutting them up and using the spoon despite the available wick.

The medal is cold so the wax won't stick to the stamp but if make multiple wax seals you have to let it chill for a bit and I would advise to use the spoon method (you buy wax cubes and melt the in a spoon) because if you use the candle method not all seals come out good because you have to wait for enough to drip down but by that time the wax that's already on the paper will cool down (you can see it a bit in the video) while with the spoon method all the wax will melt at the same time. You can also portion it mire easily with small cubes, won't burn the wax because it touches the flame wich results in black spots, burn ur fingers because it can drip on your fingers or the flame, what do you do with the rest of the candle when it's almost finished and often she you used the candle it's harder to light it again because the wax is in the way. But you do what you want I just tell you what I think is better

Another tip: 1. If you use a spoon with wax and want to clean it after you finish. Gently heat the spoon as normal and use a kitchen towel paper to wipe off the excess wax. 2. If your metal stamp becomes too hot after a few uses and doesn’t give a clean result. Let it sit on some ice or dip it in cold water for a few seconds and dry it off. That way you can continue to wax stamp without interruption.

Can we do it with the normal candle like white candle that we usually use at home?

You can but it’s not the same type of wax so it likely will crack and fall off in the mail

It’s not a candle wax it’s almost like a plastic wax. It will crack and not stick if you use a different type that’s not for wax seals, but Temu has sets of wax beads for very cheap rhat are intended for wax seal stamps

Does the wax soak thru the envelope and destroy the letter?

I used a 160gsm envelope so it didn’t destroy the letter. I have also previously used it with 80gsm paper and it didn’t damage the letter within the letter envelope
