Ah i never thought of cutting the wax bead in half...great idea! I believe you can pour the melted wax into those circle molds to get a perfect circle and then put your seal down but I prefer the unevenness look 😊

Beautiful! Is that iridescent glitter you have from recollections? I see they have an extra fine one called snow but it doesn’t say iridescent so I don’t know if it would work.

I think the one I have is the extra fine Glitz color, not Snow. I’m traveling this week, but I’m pretty sure from checking the pictures online. 🙂

I’m looking to get into wax seals, but I’ve heard that masks/PPE are recommended… do you use anything like that?

I do not. I have not seen any science showing they are needed when working with good quality wax. If you are making candles and working with concentrated scents I could see the need for one. 🙂

Ooh, okay, so the wax quality is what makes the difference! One of the people saying to use a mask buys wax from Temu/Aliexpress, which I presume is lower quality than other companies' wax recipes. Thank you for the information!
