I grew up using high end waxes back in the day. When I saw the fluorine was added I pre ordered in March. I used this as a stand alone on my daily driver which sits outside 24/7. I can say after five months this product is holding up extremely well with excellent hydrophobic behavior, depth, and gloss. How long do you recommend waiting before applying Q2 wax after applying a ceramic coating?

Interesting foam applicator, easy to hold and yes so many cars have those narrow sections it fits into. Jeff, would this work on PPF or vinyl wraps?

It's not specified for PPF, so we wouldn't recommend that. Try to stick to PPF specific products, like Gyeon Q2M PPF Maintain - www.autogeek.net/gyeon-q2m-ppf-maintain.html

If you are constantly applying a wax as a sacrificial layer, why bother with a coating in the first place??? There are a plethora of sio2 infused spray sealants and waxes that are spray on and wipe off that will be more durable.

I’m new to the game and very interested in this wax. Now my main question is: Can I pair this up with my Turtle wax hybrid solutions ceramic spray coating? If so, in what order should I apply both products? First the hybrid cetamic spray and then the Gyeon wax, or the other way around?

You can apply the Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating first then top it with the Gyeon Wax afterwards no problem!

I am a little bit confused about using Gyeon Wax over for example Gyeon CanCoat. Todd from Esoteric says it's better to use Gyeon Ceramic Detailer after the coating. What is best to protect the CanCoat? Ceramic Detailer or Wax?

It really comes down to personal preference. The Wax is really a topper only, so you can only use it after you have cleaned the vehicle completely. The Ceramic Detailer on the other hand is a cleaner and it also adds a little more hydrophobics and gloss. The Ceramic Detailer can be used on a surface with light dust/dirt. Both will work great, just depends on how you want to use them.

@@autogeek thank you. When the winter ❄️ is over, I think I will go with the CanCoat after a wash and decontamination with Gyeon Iron and Tar and Prep before the CanCoat. After one hour another layer of CanCoat. After some hours of waiting I will give it a thin layer of Ceramic Detailer. I just love the smell of it. The Gyeon Wax also smells wunderful 👍

A little goes a very long way so you would be able to get a lot of cars out of one can no problem!
