first of all you were the reason I got into bushcraft. the first survival instructor I started with. I'm happy with everything I've got from SRO. plus the knowledge you have passed down to us. I also knew a lot of your products are made in china. I understand that when you buy in bulk you get a better price. and I will continue to buy from you anyway. you won't lose a customer, but... I'll be honest.... and I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way. I would prefer everything made in the USA. I don't have a problem paying a little more for whatever I need. please don't get offended, just being upfront and honest.

Send me list of suppliers that can extrude Stainless Steel, and Sewers that can fill orders, all at a price folks don’t complain about and I’m all in! I try to carry as much US made as possible and still supply demand at a decent price and rate

Dave, one very easy and substantial improvement to the haversack is with the pocket in the top. By adding Velcro for closure in the top pocket. This would help in reducing anything falling out when opened. I’ve done it with me e and it’s a game changer. Thanks Dave for all your video’s. Skillet

That’s a beautiful system, my only hesitancy with the tins would be packing them out empty, taking up space in my pack. I do like the rodent proofing though, maybe the trade off is worth it. I think I’d like to see a descending size to the tins, so that they fit one inside another like Russian nesting dolls, saving space on the pack-out. Gorgeous bag.

They take up no more room empty than they do full.... the tradeoff us well worth it, I've used mine for a few years now. They do sell different size tins. 16, 12, and 8 ounce

FWIW I got a 200 round SAW pouch for my original Swedish mess kit, I'm sure the Pathfinder replica will fit one too! Gonna let that be a Christmas gift, but I already have a pouch- they were 2 for $20! I got a 1" strap securing mine... Mine has an alc. fuel bottle, Trangia, little green plastic kuksa, pom tongs, and a folded scrubby sponge to prevent rattles.

I just got your Waxed Canvas Haversack, and I am wondering what type of wax is used? So I can rewax it as needed. Its a lot bigger then I thought it would be, but that is not a bad thing. I will be replacing the shoulder strap with one that is wider. Seems well built other wise. Top flap pocket either needs snaps or a zipper to keep the contents from falling out when you open the bag.

this is off subject Dave but i was on the gun adapters looking to get an adapter that uses number 11 caps to go along with the 209 breech adapter i've got (i noticed when 209's weren't available around here number 11's were and when 11's weren't you could get 209's) i didn't see one on the site you wouldn't happen to know if he makes one that uses number 11 caps?

I can't say for the bags demonstrated, but he had been upfront in the past about getting their products from China. It is kinda puzzling he wasn't specific this time. More than likely due to the current global friction, but more than likely China.
