I like the Jack fight the most. He puts up the most fight while you parry him trying to find an opportunity to stab him. Plus it's pretty unique to see someone use a suitcase as a shield.

Love how the Jack the Ripper fight is a badass fight of pushing him off into the river while the rest have a super specific criteria that's more than simple to do. And then you have Anubis being the dungeon crawler equivalent to "To defeat the Cyberdemon, shoot at it until it dies".

It's funny how Jack the Ripper is basically like the Star Wars Trilogy Arcade fight with Vader where you block a ton and only really hit him once, but the others are like...just a puzzle item.

That is because he was playing on DOS and this is Amiga, amiga & dos have different sounds, idk why but maybe amiga was more powerful than most dos pcs back in 1992? you can lookup "waxworks dos music" and "waxworks amiga music" kzbin.info?search_query=waxworks+amiga+music

What happens if you try to punch jack the ripper? Does it even let you or instant death?

It is possible to put your weapon away, the sword you find in the shop you break into will be your weapon and it will equip immediately as soon as the battle begins. If you turn around it is an immediate death. I'm not sure if it's an instant death if you try to use your fists though or if the game would even let you.

You need an amiga emulator (WinUAE is what i used) + the rom also youll need a code wheel which is an autoIt script i used, most others have a website with ineractive code wheel, or you can use a modded version not sure what it is, but mine never worked and i spent over a week installing that trash so i wouldn't recommend that. simply what you need to do is, download Winuae, kickstar 2.1 (3 or 1 won't work trust me) and the game itself, simply lookup on theoldcomputer.com "waxworks" and youll find it

And if you feel unconfortable you can use the DoS version (microsoft DOS works on windows 95/98/me/2000/xp/vista and 7 and DOES NOT WORK on win 8/8.1/10 or any other windows OS after 7 i think not sure) if you have win 8.1 or above youre gonna have to use a DOS emulator but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND amiga emulator since performance on DOS is complete trash and i'm guessing you won't enjoy it, its super slow and takes years to load frames per movement while amiga runs smoothly and no lag issues at all.
