Damien has lain dormant in the back of his own head for too long, forced to exist within the grip of Dark Control's possession. All he wants is a chance to escape. But escape doesn't seem to be an option.
Can he fight back against his captor? Or has his part in his own story reached its end?

I made this animation while I was making "Runaway". It was never a planned project... but somebody was using my computer at the time, so I had to make something on a different one. I've always been a Heroes Series fan, as well as a Damien fan, so I thought, "Eh, why not?"
I'm glad I did! This animation was so much fun to make. And I hope you all enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it. :D
This is TOTALLY NOT meant to be a canon part of the story. I made this as a fan project, just to explore what Damien might've been going through when he was possessed by Dark Control. I'm not trying to take credit for Ethan's story or characters! All the credit goes to him and his team!

I personally would love to see more of the Heroes Series. But as of now, I don't think he has any plans for that. I do plan to expand on this particular animation in the future, though :)

Thanks! This animation specifically took a lot of thought and I really enjoyed making it. I’ve always thought that Damien needed more attention as a character. After all, ‘Rise Up’ implied that he was somehow still alive, so… I just had to do something with that. 😏 Thanks again!!

Yeah, in the trailer for Wicked Ways, I thought at first that he was going to be corrupted and become Dark Control. But after that and Rise Up, he genuinely became a favourite and kept thinking how he survived somehow, somewhere. This was like a dream come true. I also loved SashaMT's Dark Control vs Rainimator în which Damien got free.

Thank you! Yeah, I thought a lot about this. The relationship between Damien and Dark Control has been a subject of interest for me for a WHILE. I’ve always wondered ‘what if the Guardian was wrong? What if Damien was still alive in there?’ So I decided to have him fight back. :) I’m a Heroes Series superfan 🤣 so having my fanimation get watched means a lot.
